The Hutchinson City Council added sexual orientation to its anti-discrimination ordinance. The good news is that employers can no longer fire a gay employee for being gay and landlords cannot evict a gay tenant for being gay. The bad news: people may still find “other” reasons to fire or evict a gay person.
